Staff Picks: August 2019 Monthly Favorites

1. Storytelling through Painting

I came upon Jackie Yang's paintings from a shared Facebook video of him finishing up one of his many beautiful pieces. His work is extraordinary, and I really want to sit down with him, and have a Live chat! So if you have connections, let me know!

2. Sunisa Lee

This strong, young lady has been a pleasure to watch! We are cheering that she gets selected to be on the Team USA Roster!!!

3. Dib Xwb

We are loving this cute, new music video from Dib. I'm a big fan of her voice, and her many other songs, and I love the choreography from her new video. It's a nice change from all the other love songs!

4. Hill Tribe Fusion

I love this beautiful story of the designers Shang and Mang Thao's mother's dress. Their mother shares that her own mother passed the dress down to her so that she could remember her mother's needlework, and of course I can't help but get all teary-eyed of that kind of love.

If you didn't know already, Hill Tribe Fusion is going to New York Fashion Week which actually starts this week, on September 4th and goes through September 11th!
